Introducing MuseumTastic

MuseumTastic provides resources for small museums, historic sites, and nonprofits using business model that encourages fair pay for consultants and excellent project results for our clients. Fantastic work isn’t complicated, it just takes support. Small museums and nonprofits are constantly asked to do more with less – MuseumTastic can help with that tall order.

We want to work with small museums, historic sites, and nonprofits. These sectors are in need of a little bit of manpower to create big results. MuseumTastic can help with that. We believe that no job is too small to consider. Whether you need a social media audit for a few hours or implementing your organizations’ first-ever emergency plan over a few months, we can provide expertise and resources to help you check a lot off that to-do list.

How will we do this? MuseumTastic is structured with the founder at the helm. Julie Arrison-Bishop has extensive experience in nonprofit marketing, project planning and implementation, policymaking, operations and logistics, community engagement, program planning, grant writing, and emergency and disaster planning and management. If a project isn’t a good fit for the founder’s expertise, MuseumTastic partners[2] can tackle even more including graphic design, research, interpretation, small exhibits, fundraising, and collections management.

MuseumTastic wants to make sure that even an all-volunteer organization has access to specialized policies, training, planning, and support for a wide array of subject areas. The firm values ethical best practices that can provide support to an array of nonprofit entities.

No job is too small to be considered. MuseumTastic uses a business model that encourages fair pay for consultants and excellent project results for our clients. MuseumTastic is committed to providing pricing that makes resources available to small museums, historic sites, and nonprofits of all staffing levels.

All too often, important projects and policy creation get stymied by the cloud of excuses around budgets, time, and expertise. We’re here to help your small museum, historic site, or nonprofit even better!

[1] We are NOT a not-for-profit or nonprofit organization. MuseumTastic is not driven by profits or shareholders as a measure of success. There is not a board of directors overseeing work. Our goal as an organization is to pay staff fairly and cover overhead expenses.

[2] “Partners” are defined as contract consultants who are overseen by the founder.
