Four steps to build some skills

Earlier this month, we had the chance to participate in an AI for Marketing training at Salem State University (blog coming soon on that topic!). The speaker talked about the power of AI to create a curriculum to learn a new skill.

If you’ve been dying to learn something new or to develop a professional skill, the prompt below will help to start your AI-powered conversation to create a specialized curriculum based on budget, time, skill-level, and more.

Here are the steps to get started in creating your custom curriculum:

1. You'll need to create an account if you haven’t logged on to ChatGPT.

2. Start a thread using this prompt: I would like to learn more about [topic]. I have [xx hours/minutes] per week to devote to learning more about [topic]. Please tell me what information you need to build a learning curriculum for me that consists of [resources such as blogs, videos, books, eBooks, etc.].

3. Chat GPT will ask you a series of questions to help you to build a curriculum. Answer these questions.

4. After ChatGPT gives you a lesson plan, you can continue to customize your training based on time available, resources, and more.
